The Victron SmartShunt 500A IP65 (SHU065150050) is a fully-featured battery monitor without the need for a separate display. Your smartphone or tablet becomes the interface, connected via Bluetooth through the VictronConnect app.
With its IP65 water-resistant rating, the SmartShunt IP65 is designed for harsh environments such as marine applications, engine bays in 4WDs, or exposed off-grid solar setups.
It monitors all key battery parameters, including State of Charge (SoC), Voltage, Current Load, Time Remaining, and Extensive Historical Data. In addition to the primary battery bank, the SmartShunt can monitor a second battery (e.g. starter battery), measure midpoint voltage, or be fitted with an optional temperature sensor for enhanced battery management.
Installation is simple, clean, and ideal where minimal wiring clutter is preferred. For full system integration, the SmartShunt also includes a VE.Direct port allowing connection to Victron GX devices such as the Cerbo GX or Color Control GX.
